i dnt see the piont in trading for a guy n his prime and are young guys need grooming still my thinking that would waste his prime unless we get 2 guys in their prime thoughts.

If we make no trades we will have 25m total salary. we wouldn't have Clarkson locked up we would have d. russ, j. randle, nance j. r, lou, swaggy, bass (player option) a. Brown nice core.
If the cap go up to 90 (as projected) we have about 65m cap space.
If we give h. Whiteside 18-20m (max) I say Whiteside first because k. d will wanna c a team first.
K. Durant I say 30m that takes us to 75m
We could go 1 or 2 ways sign Clarkson and eat into the remaing 15m or wait and collect more pieces then go over the cap to sign Clarkson. Such as sign hibb for 7m (backup Whiteside) and a back up p. g 8m to work with then sign Clarkson we would have playoff caliber team.
Thats without counting the pick (asuming) we get the pick Ingram is my choice.

Everbody keeps saying Lakers staff isn't good fire Jim Buss and Mitch 3 years ago Dwight walked and we had nothing in the cupboard but kobe (off Achilles injury) no picks for 3 years and P. Gasol expiring contract.
Now we have 5 young guns and potentially 2 more on the way. that's without geting nothing for Gasol. The only bad move I can say from then was Nick. Young. The Kobe deal paid atleast 5 times that contract this year alone 38,000 a hat a thousand a seat average kobe deal was just that a deal and Nick just under performed Jordan Clarkson out played 5m in 2 season's I say greatjob not easy nailing 4/ 5 picks got to see more of A. Brown.

If everything goes right with the draft we would have 7 young playes to work with J. Randel, D. Russell, J. Clarkson, L. Nance, A. Brown, top 3 pick,32nd pick that's a nice base
If we want K. Durant we have to show him a big three possibility maybe big four. I don't think he's going for a young big 3 so we got to trade the young guns. I would only be willing to sacrifice our future for stars on good contracts like D. Cousins, J. Wall, J. Butler 15 to 18M a year guys from the old cba structure.
With hopefully 7 young players to work with and L. Will we can get 2 off of trades if the teams are willing. If the kings wanted are young big 3 J. C, J. R, D. R I would do it if they are willing to take N. Young Clarkson being a sign and trade. That leaves us with a top 3 pick, L. Nance, A. Brown, L. will and the 32nd pick that's 2 first 2 second picks and a solid vet hopefully that nets us a star. We would be basically trading are roster for 2 star's for about 30M on the books leaves us with about sixty M to work with
K. D gets bout half of that unless willing to take a pay cut. The other 30 can fill out the roster or get 2 mid tiers and fill bench with minimum guys.
If we trade for D. Cousins and keep are other guys that leaves us with bout 26 m on the books and we would have 64M to work with K. D, Derozen hopefully and mabe rondo 30 K. D 22 Derozen 10 to 12 rondo. I tgink T. Tib would get a nice defense out of this sqaud and they have enough offense to mask his flaws if i'm J. Buss on a time limit I trade my future but if I can't get the guys I want i'm keeping my young core.
