2. Draft Brandon Ingram
3. Sign Hassan Whiteside

PF- Julius Randle
C- Hassan Whiteside.

To be realistic, the lakers will obviously be a lottery team and will be in competition for a top 3 pick. If they keep their top 3 pick, they should draft either Ben Simmons (An all around player) or Jaylen Brown ( A 3 and D player) these two prospects fit into the lakers system. Then if they don't keep the pick, they should look to sign Batum or swing a trade for someone like Rudy Gay. But let's just say they keep their pick. They draft one of the two prospects. Next would be free agency, they should go after Hassan Whiteside who would fit perfectly next to Julius Randle with his spectacular blocking skills. They should also release Sacre and go after better role players. They also need to fire Byron Scott and hire either Luke Walton, Mark Jackson, or Tom Thibs. Then this team will look complete with:
PG: D'Angelo Russell
SG: Jordan Clarkson
SF: Ben Simmons or Jaylen Brown
PF: Julius Randle
C: Hassan Whiteside.
