Laker fans are delusional if they think a 37 year old kobe bryant will lead them to another playoffs much less finals. Kobe needs to go, his time has come and true laker fans need to accept the end of a great era. Kobe cannot survive the rigors of another full NBA season at his age. I know I will get hate for this by the deluded ones, but the lakers should trade Kobe for a higher draft pick and take Towns and Winslow in the draft. It's time to build a new generation of stars in LA. Kobe had his time and has proven his greatness time and time again but his time has come to an end. Lakers front office is pretending Kobe is still that young gun 27 year old Kobe who could score 40 points a night. If you want to rebuild this franchise start with drafting some solid big men and work your way down to the G positions as time progesses. Rebuilding takes patience but on order to make that process quicker we need to make sacrifices and getting rid of Kobe would be a good start. Get rid of everybody and start from scratch or i'm done with the lakers. Enough circus play.

It will be highly unwise to get rid of everyone and start from scratch. Just look at what the Spurs do, who have the smartest organization. When they got Kawhi Leonard, they ddn't try to break up their big three even though they were slowing down. They preserve their strengths and buikd further!
