Not a good trade for the Lakers. Keep the number 2 pick and draft Okafor or Towns, and either will be better than most centers in the nba.
Would like to trade picks 27, 34 plus Hill and Young to move up the draft a bit and get Ronda or Justin.

We need to forget about Kevin Love. He is not coming! After Kyrie getting hurt today, the Cavs look like they will lose badly to the Warriors which will increase Love's desirability within their organization, which is what he wants. They will pay him what he needs so they can try to win a championship next year.
On the other hand. Tobias Harris is a possibility.

Terrible trade! In a year both Towns and Okafor will be better than the nutcase Cousins! We should not trade away the good assets we have, namely the second pick, Randle and Clarkson. We need to add to them to make us better but not give tem away. Cousins is over-rated and uncoachable. let Saramento stew in their own crut!

Good to imagine such things, though I don't see why the Pistons would go for it. They would have no interest in Ryan Kelly! In any case I don't concur with the idea of the Lakers trading away the second pick. Jahlil is the best offensive big center we have seen since Shaq, and it has always been our dream to get someone like that. Now we have our chance, and let's not blow it!

Terrible trade! Kupchak is not stupid to do it. We want a big like Tiwns Okafor, and NOT Mudiay who is untested and suspect!! We don't want Calderon either.
It will be highly unwise to get rid of everyone and start from scratch. Just look at what the Spurs do, who have the smartest organization. When they got Kawhi Leonard, they ddn't try to break up their big three even though they were slowing down. They preserve their strengths and buikd further!
I agree completely, except that if we are lucky enough to have a chance at Towns or Okafor, we should grab him. Then we can try to get Tobias Harris through free agent signing to take care of the hole at number 3.
Let's not trade any of the following young guys: Clarkson, Randle, Brown, Black and Davis. You can let Young, Hill and others go, I eman use as trade chips if possible. Let's also not trade away the top five draft pick. It will be years before we get another. Remember whhat happened when we got Magic and then Worthy! Randy ahs the potential to eb as good as Love, and Clarkson can be betetr than Rondo within a year. Let's be patient and develop the terrific young talent we have.
