This trade is on the account the lowry signs somewhere else this offseason and the raptors decide to start a rebuild and not contend in the current lebron era.

Raptors trade:

Demar DeRozan

Lakers Trade:

Julius Randle, D'angelo Russell

Keep in mind once again that this is only if raptors decide to make a rebuild. this would work out quite well for both teams. Lakers could then start going more on the contending side and wait 1 more year and get another hometown guy in George.

with clarkson, nance still off the bence.

would derozan be an all star in the west?

He's not as good as people say he is. Has a lot of offensive talent that constantly disappears in the playoffs. I'd be more interested in seeing how Russell and Randle develop than trade for Derozan.

Lakers need a Center and need to decide on who is playing point guard.

Philly need a point guard and have to get rid of a Center

Philly give: Okafor
Lakers give: Russell

why the hell not?
yeah it could be viewed that one team could benefit a more than the other but this works for both teams because they both get what they need

Philly: (Draft Ingram for the need of a shooter on the team)
Russell, Smith
Stouskas, cannon
Ingram, Covington, grant
Noel, Saric
Embiid, landry

Lakers: (Draft Simmons for a playmaker on the team because Clarkson isn't really one)
Clarkson, Huertas
Lou-will, Young
Simmons, Brown
Randle, Nance, Bass
Okafor, Black,

These would be the rosters in no team signed any extra players. plus philly still hasn't got it's other draft picks in that roster. this works well for both teams.

hmm would rather wait to see how Russell works in Luke's system, because I have a feeling it will benefit him a lot. Furthermore, I don't think that Okafor will fit the system that Luke is going to try playing, and Ingram would fit next to Randle better than Simmons.

Jut my thoughts.

This I like this is a team that can grow up to be a dynasty but to make it a dynasty we need a clutch man someone that can come close to Kobe on the clutch moment no one will ever be as good as Kobe on the busses beaters no even Jordan was as good as Kobe in the clutch moment all in all a strait up playoff team for a couple years but in years to come this is dynasty team lakers make a comeback lakers reloaded

lakers get a proven star that will help attract free agents while maintaining youth in still having clarkson, nance, mcdermott, portis

Chicago get young players that show promise to revamp the roster.
