Pistons-Lakers-Warriors-Grizzlies

Pistons trade: Monroe, Singler
Pistons get: Hill, Stokes, 2015 second rounder from Memphis, 2016 second rounder from Lakers and draft rights to Sekularac

Lakers trade: Hill, Price, Ellington and 2016 second rounder
Lakers get: Monroe, Singler

Warriors trade: Draft rights to Sekularac
Warriors get: Price

Grizzlies trade: Stokes, 2015 second rounder from Memphis
Grizzlies get: Ellington

Why would they do?

Pistons: Monroe will leave the team. That's quite clear. So trading him is a good option to get something instead. They get Hill who is a good player and will not mind backing up Smith and Drummond. Also his team option is something quite good because Pistons may try to sign a big name at next free agency. Stokes adds depth to frontcourt. Two second rounders may help to bolster squad at future seasons.

Lakers: Lakers lacks a star player who will help Bryant to lift the team to the play-offs. Monroe can provide this. Singler will supply much needed depth in SF. Forcing Monroe to resign next summer and trying to attract another star player will be the plan. Also another roster spot is maintained to get both Majok and Miller

Grizzlies: Depth in wing can be maintained by adding Ellington. Not much is given.

Warriors: They need depth in 1. They give anything but a spot to Lakers. Price is a good back-up.

Jordan Hill: He will accept this trade as LA will probably won't use his option to keep his contract.

Greg Monroe: Money is not in his mind for this season. So more probability of a winning team is a preference.

Depth Charts for Pistons and Lakers:

Jennings/Augustin/Dinwiddie
Meeks/Pope/Martin
Butler/Datome/Mitchell
Smith/Jerebko/Stokes
Drummond/Hill/Anthony

Lin/Clarkson/Nash(+)
Bryant/Young/Henry
Singler/Johnson/Miller
Boozer/Davis/Kelly/Randle (+)

1.) Stop thinking that LA will do all to find a competitive team to Kobe. it will jeopardize their chances to rebuild. Next summer they will add Marc Gasol and check Love status. The trade as much as possible to get a perimeter threat ( Gay, and a bunch of role players to support the team) Kobe will probably not make his last year, that is the rebuilding price tag

Pistons - Lakers

Pistons get: Jordan Hill, Houston's first round pick, future first rounder

Lakers get: Monroe, Martin, Singler

Pistons sign Stiemsma

Depth Charts

Jennings/Augustin/Bynum
Meeks/Caldwell-Pope/Dinwiddie
Smith/Butler/Datome
Hill/Jerebko/Mitchell
Drummond/Gray/Stiemsma

Lin/Nash/Clarkson
Bryant/Young/Henry
Johnson/Singler/Cartier
Boozer/Randle/Davis
Monroe/Sacre/Kelly

Monroe doesn't want to be with Pistons. Whether this summer or next summer he will be out of Detroit. Trading him is a good idea to have something rather than anything. Hill is a promising player and he will be a better fit with Drummond. He is not as good as Monroe but he is a good replacement as Monroe is leaving. Two first rounders are also a good rebuilding factor without going have to be a bad team. Singler and Cartier are two players in fulled up SF position of Pistons, which is empty for Lakers. Both teams are potential play-off teams now.

Can Lakers sign Monroe?

If so, they can be a play-off team if Boozer at SF experiment works.

Lin/Nash/Clarkson
Bryant/Young/Henry
Boozer/Johnson
Randle/Hill/Davis
Monroe/Sacre/Kelly

1.) Boozer at small foward? You're joking right
