What about offering the #2 & 2th pick and Julius Randle to NOP for Anthony Davis & Omer Asik.
Then we could trade for Miles Plumlee as a backup center and trade for Tyler Johnson. Sign Gerald Green, Jimmy Butler and Jameer Nelson during free agency. The team would look like this:
Roster:
PG- Jordan Clarkson, Jameer Nelson and draft pick
2G- Kobe, Gerald Green, Tyler Johnson
SF - Jimmy Bulter, Nick Young, Wesley Johnson
PF - Anthony Davis, Ed Davis
C - Omer Asik, Jordan Hill, Miles Plumlee
We would have depth and Kobe wouldn't have to play heavy minutes until the end of the season and playoffs
