So I think some vital change should would be super solid to the lineup:
These aren't crazy move so but if completed they would turn this turns into a solid team for many years.

Clarkson + First round (28) pick for Pistons Stanley Johnson and 2nd round pick

Johnson is very efficient and defensively is a monster

We would pick Fox in the Draft. If he developed a better shot then he isn't easily the best player for the lakers

The defense that would be coming is insanely just from these two alone

Fox/Nwaba
Russell/Nick young
Ingram/Johnson
Randle/Nance
Zubac/Robinson

THIS team would develop to be insanely defensive and have a nice balance between perimeter and Paint players

Stanley Johnson is a future starter.

Now yall know how good T rob is on Defense....

Draft Ball and Hart

Package Clarkson along with some second round picks and get a future pick STASH PICKS

Ball/Nwaba
DLO/Hart
Ingram/Brewer
Randle/Nance
Zubac/T ROB

Trading Clarkson for future pick she makes no sense.

2.) 04 Apr 2017 04:29:43
because we have a guard jam hart is better defender and we can do what celtics did and stash those picks for valuable trades JFC THINK WITH your HEAD.

3.) 04 Apr 2017 04:57:10
I love how people want to trade a solid player just knowing that this years pick is going to jump right in and makes difference. Both Russell and Ingram where #2 picks and they are still mediocre. It is not very often someone comes in their first year or two and make a difference. For every James or even Towns there are more busts or players that just turn out a role player. Also a Hart, Russell, Ball and Clarkson would not be a log jam. Specially when none of them have really had a break out year. Use your head. What if one of the players gets hurt. It's not a log jam it's call having depth.

I think DLO is better off being traded for a solid defender-
DLO

Pistons
Stanley Johnson and pick

We have about 32 mill for free agency i'm ok for letting young walk since we will draft a guard and we will have more then enough set of guards
we let ennis walk as well and then we resign thomas robinson to about a 1 mill
we should try and offer pg13 about 22 mill to about 25 mill to 4-5 years
Rest of money we save incase of trades etc
Lonzo Ball/Nwaba
DLo/Clarkson
PG13/Ingram
Randle/Nance
Zubac/black

In 2018 i see all this happenning
We pick Ball in the draft
Ingram becomes a 15 7 4 player
Nance still a beast
Zubac becoming a 12 10 player
______________________________

Now to trades its only right we send a first round and a second round along with moz to a team like mavs that wanna absorb contractys for picks
We sign PG13 if he decides to not resign with pacers
We send clarkson and russell to a contending bench for future picks since hart is better as a 2 way player
we resign Robinson and tarik black
we let nick young go and we pick Hart with our second first round pick

Roster-----------------------
Ball/Ennis
PG13/Hart
Ingram/brewer
Randle/Robinson
Zubac/BLack
Zubac/Black

Roster Without PG13
Ball/ennis
Russell/Hart
Ingram/brewer
Randle/Nance
Zubac/Black

i don't see any use of sending russell and clarkson for picks? just to see if those picks would be as good or better then russell and clarkson? makes no sense. if your going to trade them then atleast get talent back. not picks. those 2 players are worth way more then future draft picks.

2.) 14 Mar 2017 03:01:11
then we have a jam at the guard position
rather do what celtics did and trade for valuable picks and try get another star.

I am loving what DLo's mentality is taking him his games have been becoming more consistent he can become a monster at the 2 that can be a threat to any team
We draft Ball and with the second draft pick we choose Jordan Bell or Josh Hart/Dillon brooks who either can be prove to be great 2 way players and use clarkson as a trade piece for picks in the future

RahulSharma13244

1.) 31 Mar 2017 02:34:26
i would rather keep clarkson than trade him for a pick.

2.) 05 Apr 2017 05:40:40
Clarkson is a proven already player in the NBA. It was Luke Walton's fault to put him on the bench and start Lou. Jordan can play equally well on both guards positions. But, is there is a chance to get rid of Deng or Mozgov and that require trading Clarkson, then I am all for it.

Seeing Dlo tonight shows that his potential means the doom for other teams even defending champions that only won cu lebron

moving Dlo to the 2 and bringing Lonzo to the 1 with so much playmaking and Deep range I think that would be insanity

Lonzo could form into a 15 9 6 player

Dlo 25 6 4 player

Ingram 18 7 2 player

Randle 14 8 3 player

Zubac 16 10 player

THIS group would obliterate any comp in 3 years and if we go and pick up paul george then vy next year even it could be dangerous

DLo/Lonzo
Ingram/Clarkson
Paul george/ Brewer
Randle/Nance
Zubac/Black

Glad to see for the first time you see the potential in Russell and give George a great reason why to sign with the Lakers. Pieces around him.

2.) 25 Mar 2017 20:00:05
Again, on another post you (city) said you don't see free agents coming to the second worse team this summer 2017 (which I completely agree) . Give me a reason why George would come to a non playoff team in 2018? Bearing any franchise changing trades/ signings and the addition of yet another lottery pick in 2017, why would PG enter a rebuilding team in his prime? "Pieces around him" = young 20-23 year old developing players is not attractive for a player of his caliber. You either rebuild or retool by trading. Russell, Randle aren't going to become consistent over a year's span. I doubt George comes to LA to play with those guys. Good thing Pelinka wants to get "better talent" for coach Walton and with a weak free agency class this summer, it's going to be through trades.

3.) 25 Mar 2017 22:43:23
Gm: Cause what the Lakers have is a team of young talent that will be developed good enough for the Lakers to add George. George would want to come back to his hometown team. I don't agree with you on Russell and Randle not going to become consistent in over a year. They have good games and bad games now but wait a year you will see improve. Now I am not going to chance your mind how you think. If you think Russell and Randle are a wash and worth trading then that's on you. To me and others its a big mistake.

4.) 26 Mar 2017 18:56:59
George grew up a Clipper fan. He's stated that many times. So I would think the Clippers are his hometown team. He was a Kobe fan.

I do not think anything of Russell and Randle being a wash. I don't know what that means. I think they are not that good and have lower ceilings compared to other talents around the league in their same draft/ age. Lakers misdrafted with Russell. Porzingis/ Booker both better. I bet they want that one back. Randle was best available in a two man draft: Wiggins or Parker. I'm sure even NBA execs know Randle is not that good, which is why he wasn't picked for any rising stars challenges. His ceiling is low, he even regressed in rebounds. Consistency wise, Clarkson in his 3rd year is inconsistent still. Russell and Randle in their 3rd year are not magically going to be consistent enough for players to say "I want to play there with those guys". But I expect more good than bad, a complete opposite to their current status. Randle may play well in a contract year.

5.) 26 Mar 2017 19:57:26
Rebounds regressed*.

6.) 26 Mar 2017 23:21:02
What I mean by wash is exceeding expectations and nothing more to prove for the Lakers. Which I think they do have more to prove. As far as misdraft you have your opinion which I know that Prozingis and Booker are good players but Russell is just as good. Lakers drafted for need which was a PG. Still has more to prove as a PG.

Maybe if the Lakers get a PG that averages 8 to 10 assists a game put Russell at SG will he improve even more. Who knows unless it happens. Randle's situation with the rising challenge was based on NBA rules. Randle couldn't compete this year cause he played 1 game in his first year before the injury so he wasn't eligible.

Wierd but that's there rule. The silly thing about George is back in 2010 I thought the Clippers would pick George but they went with Aminu instead. They could've had Hayward as well. I was surprised.

Randle should've been 4th in 2014. I thought the Lakers would get Gordon or Smart. I never thought Randle would be there at 7th but my guess was his injuries in college.

7.) 29 Mar 2017 22:52:23
Wow an extremely far fetched statement regarding Russell's talent in comparison to Porzingis and Booker. "Just as good". The potential of Booker and Porzingis is higher than Russell. Not bashing Russell, just being honest. Lakers lacked a center too and Clarkson was handling the PG position quite well, so well that he got rookie of the week or month over Wiggins. But nonetheless, Lakers would have definitely went in a different direction knowing now what the potential of these players are.

14 Mar 2017 23:12:33
Decision timnes are booming to come its time to decide what young players to keep to let go

DLO- i think his playmaking and leadership is unmatched and underrated but with this draft full of superstar caliber guards he might be the easiest pill to swallow given we get ball or Fultz
Fultz can fill the guard role better same with ball with their athleticism and ability to be playmakers on and off ball

I would rather see clarkson go because of his limited ceiling

Ball/FUltz
DLO
Ingram
Randle
Zubac

RahulSharma13244

1.) 15 Mar 2017 21:11:04
Your giving up on the young guys to soon. Why so you can trade for a bother pick? That makes no sense. And get rid of Clarkson? He is on a decent contract and can still improve his game. Will he be a allstar? No but he will be a solid player.

04 Feb 2017 03:20:41
So we are prob finishing 3rd and geeting the 3rd pick as it is so we should go for a great 2 way player in Josh Jackson who is defensive and has a high ceiling to turn into a paul george or Kwahi leonard type player

Dangelo Russell
Josh Jackson
Ingram
Randle
Zubac

As it is we can not resign Robinson and MWP and waive hurtas and calderon will be gone as well freeing around 7 mil
We can pursue Nerlens Noel who can play Center and switch it up and trade away Williams for future picks to a team like Cavs who want bench
Dlo/Clarkson
Jackson/Young
Ingram/Deng
Randle/Nance
Noel/Zubac

This is not only realistic but also Doable and can increase the defensive presence at wing and inside

RahulSharma13244

1.) 04 Feb 2017 05:09:53
Isn't Noel a RFA?

2.) 04 Feb 2017 08:00:25
hes going to leave so its either philly takes what is offered or lose everything.

3.) 04 Feb 2017 16:35:37
If he is a RFA they can match the other teams offer. So they still have the final say. I guess if you don't think they will match it then ok.

4.) 04 Feb 2017 17:17:30
Rahul what Toolguy is saying is correct. Noel is a restricted free agent so the Sixers can match whatever offer he gets. Are you prepared to see the Lakers spend $18M to $20M a year on Noel? That's what it will cost for a free agent deal plus sign and trade. Which the Sixers will want assets for him like Zubac. Personally I would keep developing Zubac over signing Noel cause Lakers already have Mozgov and starting center.

The only way I see bringing in Noel would be somebody taking Deng or Mozgov for second round picks as a salary dump and the Sixers accepting second round picks as compensation for Noel. Which would be tough.

5.) 04 Feb 2017 18:25:32
why tf would they want another big man lmao they would prob ask for williams or young because they need scorers and they won't match it because they have no use for the guy he barely gets mins and he isn't happy.

6.) 04 Feb 2017 18:54:53
Well there are reports that Okafor could be on the move so that's why they would ask for a big man in addition to Noel being an asset. Noel is an asset so the Sixers would match especially if they can get Noel cheaper than what they would pay.

Do you people get high and then do this? 2 first round picks for Okafor? He is never healthy and zubac is better defender and offensive player.
