1.) I wouldn't give up picks for anyone in the league right now except for Anthony Davis. Lakers are better off tanking at this point. Tank this year and next.

Lakers do this because they can prepare for next season, they get a player who can play well in the backcourt with Kobe, and they get a rim protector who at best case scenario can take the reigns of the franchise after Kobe retires, they wouldn't have a lot of cap space next season, but they will have enough to resign some players on the roster and sign a couple veterans who want to win

Sixers do this because they get worse this year, they are planning on having a LONG but successful rebuilding process, they get Julius Randle who will look good next to Embiid in the front court, and they also get a pick for the future which might be high, they will have a better odds of being the worst team this year, thus getting them a better chance to get the number 1 pick, they also have Saric coming soon

The Nets do this because they need to get rid of money this season, They are paying useless money for being over the Luxury Tax and they are a horrible team, they get a late first round pick this year and they get Tony Wroten who is looking so far to be a pretty good young guard who has a ceiling of maybe at best 20 PPG on a Playoff team, they get Steve Nash who will just be an expiring contract but might be some veteran Tudor to the young players, and they get Jeremy Lin who is also an expiring contract but he may be a piece for the future, he most certainly won't be making as much money as he is this year, but he may be a good role player for Brooklyn in years to come

Feedback Please?

1.) Negative feedback necessary. It would be brainless to give up three first round picks (Lakers top five protected, Randle, and Houston's 1st) for an overpaid and past-his-prime PG especially when the Lakers will be rid of Nash and Randle's contracts that add up to the same amount of Deron Williams' salary that could be spent on someone or someones who is/are actually worth all of that money. All of these trades on here involving Brooklyn are beyond foolish and short-sighted; Brooklyn has nobody worth trading for except Plumlee

2.) Not much improvement for the lakers
