Since there's rumors that ATL is looking to shop Teague, I figured why not make a hypothetical trade scenario.
LAC gets: Jeff Teague, two future 1st's, Mike Scott, Tim Hardaway, Jr.
ATL gets: Chris Paul, Jamal Crawford (salary filler; released soon after), future top 10 protected pick, Branden Dawson.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is not worth a pick, specially a top #3. I'm sure there will be plenty of SF who have no offensive game as free agents.

@techin g You haven't watched MKG play then. He's one of the best wing defenders in the NBA. and no there aren't really any great SF FA's this summer which is why I proposed that deal. If the Lakers don't draft Ingram or Simmons, they will most likely have to find a "bridge SF" yet again.

Yeah, unfortunately a Paul George trade will most likely not happen. Lakers would probably have to get super creative and get another team or two involved to help.

@citydude: I'm not sure if the Lakers would be willing to give Barnes a max. I feel like they can find a better player with much more upside at a cheaper rate down the line. This summer I'd say trade for a wing on an expiring contract and go for someone else in 2017.

We can make trades as well for expiring contracts. Lakers don't necessarily have to sign a SF in free agency this summer to fill the hole. Same goes for C although that position isn't as plentiful for trades.
