If Horford were to sign with the Lakers he would be a center not a PF. I am still a believer that Detroit wouldn't match a 4 year max contract for Drummond.

2.) 28 May 2016 02:57:20
If Detroit wouldn't match the offer then the things became
Simply and better.

Max offer to Drummond and keep Randle

I guess between Drummond and Horford.
Horford is the one that should play PF
Hes slightly faster and have a better shot.

But If Lakers could keep Randle is not a brain breaker .

Clarkson
Newman
George
Randle
Drummond

Malik Newman starting? Wtf? Pretty sure he is staying in college, and if not, he should have stayed cause he was pretty average.

This year the Lakers can build a team for a future dynasty.
We may lose Kobe, 5 times champion and the gretest player of all time, but that give us the opportunity to make a team that will give Lakers at least 5 rings(!)and at least 5 future all star players in they roster!
Maybe not winning a ring this year but for sure 2017-2018.
So, Mitch Kuptchak u have done a great job and this year u can stop rebuilding and take the chance to build a dynasty!
After all 3 years in the row being in top 3 of worst teams and not making the playoffs is too much for a historical team as the Lakers.
The time have come.
Taking in consideration that Lakers seems to have choose the path of building a dynasty around Russell,Randle and Clarkson , that's my idea for the Lakers Dynasty.

-select Brandon Ingram

-Kobe Bryant retirement and Hibberts end of contract gives 40m on salary cup and the teams total salary is 24m.teams salary in total is 46m plus 14m luxury tax room gives 60m to spend.

-trade Williams and a 2nd round pick for 2 1st round picks gives 67m and 2 1st round picks

-trade Bass to TOR for Biyombo and Norman Powell

-release Biyombo, Black, Sacre, Huertas, Kelly gives 75m

-re-sing Clarkson 2years/5m (70m)

-Lakers strike on free agency:
Pau Gasol 1year/14m (56m)
Al Jefferson 2years/12m (44m)
Whiteside 3years/10m (34m)
Joe Johnson 1year/8m (26m)
Jennings 3years/8m (18m)
Rondo 2years/6m (12m)

-trade Al Jefferson and Nance jr to LAC for Jordan

-trade Pau Gasol and the 2 1st round picks from Williams trade for Hayward

-Trade Joe Johnson and Nick Young for Devin Booker

-Trade Jennings and Rondo for Walker and Kidd-Gilchrist (Charlotte will make 11m cap space to hit on free agency 2016-17 or 2017-18)

-the season 2017-18 trade Hayward and a 2nd round pick for Antetokoumpo

Los Angeles Lakers 2017-2018 and starters of a new Dynasty:

Starting 5
D'angelo Russell
Devin Booker
Giannis Antetokoumpo
Julius Randle
Deandre Jordan

Bench
Kemba Walker
Jordan Clarkson
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist
Brandon Ingram
Hassan Whiteside

Your entire piece is completely dilusional. The only thing you posted that has a chance of happening is the Lakers drafting Ingram. The rest is garbage.

2.) 11 May 2016 00:14:34
Nothing listed is even remotely possible.

The contracts are way bellow market value and the trades are extremely lopsided.

It makes me nervous that people think any of that outside of drafting Ingram would happen.

3.) 11 May 2016 01:06:35
10 May 2016 23:28:26
Well, it may be dilusional for your brain.
I think big and the Lakers as the most successful team in NBA history should think and operate thinking huge.
Man, what r u talking about?
They r one step far from making something huge! They have the opportunity to build probably the best team of all time!
Winning 4-5 rings in a row.
Only this Lakers can get this together.
Location, franchise, association and now that salary cap?
This is a opportunity to make write history!
They should not waste it.
Anyway why do u think that is dislutional?
Explain me.

4.) 11 May 2016 09:03:44
Many flaws. First of all, all of your trades will never be accepted by the other team and most importantly, Whiteside WILL get Max somewhere and you only have him getting 10 mil. Since when does Joe Johnson and Nick Young get you Devin Booker.

1.) 05 May 2016 12:11:05
Lakers have nothing, absolutely nothing that they would be willing to give up that would interest Minnesota into trading Gorgui Dieng.

2.) 05 May 2016 13:21:04
Roy Hibbert?
Roy Hibbert + Brandon Bass?
Roy Hibbert + Tarik Black?

3.) 05 May 2016 13:45:17
And Minnesota would want any of those players why?

4.) 05 May 2016 14:09:19
Nicola Pekovic + Roy Hibbert + Brandon Bass or Tarik Black

Why they wouldn't?

5.) 05 May 2016 14:26:33
Minnesota would have 0 interest in Hibbert, Bass, or Black.

Why would they?

6.) 05 May 2016 20:09:05
I guess I value Roy Hibbert as a player higher than u do and u value Giorgui Dieng higher than I do!
Ok, Roy Hibbert had a bad season with a bad team, but let's don't forget his last 2 seasons with the Pacers.

Anyway, telling me that Minnesota will have 0 interest on Roy Hibbert + Brandon Bass or Tarik Black is just st*pid!
How r u so sure?
R u the GM of Minnesota?

I put on the table Pekovic + Hibbert + Bass or Black.
A great frontline that every team would like to have.

Why Minnesota would like Pekovic + Dieng more than that?
Speak with arguments.

7.) 05 May 2016 21:20:11
Right now, Dieng is suppior to Hibbert, Bass, and Black.

And if Minnesota wanted Hibbert, they can just sign him as a free agent.

Pek is injured all the time. Hibbert can barely move anymore.

Oh ya, they have some guy named Karl-Anthony Towns to play center.

If you think Pek, Hibbert, and Bass are a great frontcourt, Minnesota would gladly give you Pek for nothing. Then you can have that "great frontline that every team would like to have"

8.) 05 May 2016 21:41:26
GreekNBAfan- lol, your making an argument that makes no sense for Minnesota. Minnesota will not have any interest in Hibbert. They have Karl Anthony Towns at center and also have Pekovic. To move Pekovic somebody like the Lakers would have to take on Pekovic's contract. That's not happening unless 1) the Lakers strike out in free agency and 2) Minnesota is will to trade a first round pick along with Pekovic. Hibbert is also a free agent so he would have to agree to go to Minnesota which I doubt he will cause he would be on the bench.

9.) 09 May 2016 21:01:29
I don't see kd at all coming

Will put Nance practically out the team.
At last they can sign 3-4 descent free agents (mayo, waiters or whoever at that caliber) and the team will be Championchip contenders.

Clarkson
George
Ingram
Horford
Drummond
6th Randle

GreekNBAfan

1.) 01 Jul 2016 13:05:47
No chance the pacers are trading George . They already have a promising team, why would they fvck it up by trading their best player? Plus, I doubt the pistons would let go of drummond he is RFA.

01 Jul 2016 12:41:56
But sacrifices have to be done and he have the most value my opinion is that Deangello have to be traded for Paul George.

If PAC don't except then include Larry Nance
And they can sign Horford with Max deal for PF
Anyway having Randle/Horford at PF will

I'm totally disappoint with the rumors going around for the Lakers(Mozgov,Wade)!

16m per year for Mozgov??
Are you kidding me?why he deserve so much?
What r u thinking?

They could give that money to RFA, Andre Drummond and DET will NEVER match the Offer.

About Wade. ok he is a experience Superstar and he will help the team a lot but for how long? 1-2 years?
What they expect to archive with those players?
Playoffs? Maybe. But till there. Nothing more than that!

After the departure of Kobe, the team need a Superstar with present and future. for 10 years!
That's Paul George!

Lakers have 2 great high potential point guards. Deangelo and Clarkson.
With one of them we will be ok! They can't have 2 great players in the same position when we r lacking in other positions.

So even if I love him and I consider him to became a new Magic Johnson my opinion i

GreekNBAfan

1.) 01 Jul 2016 14:55:24
What were you expecting? I agree with you that its too much for Mozgov but this kind of contract is what your going to see for now on. It started last season and it will continue forever. There really isn't much options for the Lakers. I wake up this morning and Beal, Batum, Drummond, DeRozan, & Whiteside are all resigning with there own teams. Also don't expect Dwayne Wade to sign with the Lakers. He would probably only sign with the Mavericks and Spurs but I expect him to resign with the Heat being that Whiteside resigned so that makes them out of the Durant sweepstakes.
