Note: Hornets needed a volume/perimeter shooter since they are one of the few team who struggle to perimeter shooting and 3's last 2014-2015 season. While lakers also one of the few teams who are struggle in defense especially in perimeter defense.

I agree with you on the fit for both the Lakers and Hornets however the Hornets are going to want more for Michael Kidd Gilchrist than Nick Young and a 2nd round pick from the Mavs. We are talking maybe a 1st Round pick and a young prospect.
