The Spurs are playing hard ball right now and want the farm for Leonard. They are delusional. This is a fact now and well reported. They want Ingram, Kuzma, Hart, 2 first round picks + 2 picks which can be swapped. If the Lakers were offered Leonard for the package you described they would do it in a heartbeat. However this will probably be dragged out for some time. I say keep all the young and wait til free agency next summer. Lebron has committed for 3+1 years so there is no rush. I also want to point out to fellow Lakers fans that Spurs fans think Ingram, Kuzma and Hart are garbage. They view them as nothing. I say give them nothing. You trying to beat the Spurs don't give them value take from them next offseason.

Lakers can only sign 2 max players so to answer your question no it's not possible. Can only pick 2 of 3 out of Lebron, PG and CP3 that's without your trade. Your trade actually uses up another $3M-$4M in cap space. Personally I would say forget Carmelo if the Lakers sign PG13 and Lebron. I however wouldn't rule out Carmelo for Deng if the Lakers don't get allstars this offseason. Dump Deng's contract for 19-20 season and get an expiring contract of Carmelo. That's if he approves the trade. People might ask well what do the Thunder get? Tax relief this next year.

Lakers problem is play not coaching. Players turn the ball over, miss free throws, miss 3 point shots, look like they don't want to be on the court. Magic Johnson will probably have to revamp the roster this off season but it may not be with the players that people are thinking of. I wouldn't trade Ball or Ingram either. Ingram needs to show some kind of growth. Very inconsistent right now.

The way Cleveland is playing n PG13 seems so happy in okc. I don't think those 2 are coming. Magic and Rob should have waited this summer to see what other moves they can do. I guess we'll just wait.
