Does this sound like a guy wanting to come to the Lakers?

@ChrisBHaynes tells us now on @ESPNLosAngeles if these teams had a max slot LeBron would listen to them b/ c he respects them. Teams are the Warriors, Spurs, and less so the Heat (b/ c he's been there done that) . Wouldn't rule out Lakers, Cavs and Rockets. No Clippers.

So he would not rule Lakers out. Doesn’t sound promising
This is why I think we should hold on to the young guys.
Cousins is out and don’t know how he’ll be when he is back.
George is unlikely to leave a top 5 team in the West for a team not making the playoffs.
I also think they jumped the gun on trading Russell.
Are there any other “max” guys out there that would work? Jordan.

Chris Haynes is just trying to create a story. Neither Lebron James nor the Warriors mentioned anything. Do the Lakers need a Plan B if Plan A doesn't work? Yes. Which I think they have. If the Lakers don't get any allstars signed will the Russell deal be a bust? Yes. The way I look at Paul George is that he hasn't said anything either about committing long term with the Thunder. Magic Johnson will be aggressive during free agency. It will be different from the Kupchak/ Buss era.

I agree that Lakers need a plan b but magic will hopefully sign one of pg13 Bron or boogie.

One maybe. But that’s why I don’t want to trade Randle and Clarkson. They are good young pieces to go with Ingram, Ball and Kuzma.

I like Randle and Clarkson but Randle is going free agent and probably won't resign and Clarkson is a good bench player but he isn't going to help them win a championship. Here's what Lakers should do

Trade for first round pick, sign boogie or trade for a good c, sign pg13 or Bron, and get a good bench player.
