So I think we need to trade
Brewer
Lopez
Bogut
And Deng but very unlikely.
But only trade for young player or expiring contracts and draft picks. But the question is what do you think we can get?
Brewer maybe a expiring and a second.
Lopez a expiring and maybe a first.
Bogut a second.
Deng would take a act of Congress.
If we can do this play the young guys more so they get some experience. None of these players are going to bring us a top free agent. I believe the best shot is the develop the young guys and hopefully they can make some improvements and attract a top free agent if not some second tier players.

No one on the roster is going to bring the Lakers a top free agent. Players don’t rush to play on a sub .500 team.

No one will give you a 2nd for Bogut because his contract isn’t even guaranteed. Lakers can waive him and another team can claim him without giving up a 2nd.

Lopez this season isn’t worthy of a first.

Not getting a second for Brewer who hasn’t even hit a 3 this year. you get nothing for these players. They are not worth trading. Just let their contracts come off the books.

Your right nobody wants to play on a bad team. That’s why I want to play the young guys. They are the key to the future. They need to develop. But if we can stay close to the 500 range with no all star players and cap space some players might be interested. George/ Cousins. Both have multiple all star players and no cap space and are hanging around the bottom of the playoffs.

And yes I personally think will have to look at teir 2 players. And I do think some younger teir 2 players would be interested in playing for the Lakers. Like KCP, Favors, Noel, Barton, Okafor (if cheap), Curry and Dedmon. I would also like to bring back Lou Williams. I liked the back court off the bench of him and Clarkson.
