I don't watch much college basketball. So I have to ask Ball or Jackson?

Ball Russell
Russell Jackson
Ingram Or Ingram
Randel Randel
Zubac Zubac
Or is there a another player to draft? Those seem to be the two I hear about the most.

I would say draft Lonzo Ball. Which is the overwhelming favorite right at this point with no work out yet. Jackson is a good player but the Lakers already have Ingram. Jackson has a lot of work to do on his shooting. Another name yo will also hear is DeAaron Fox. Lakers do need a point guard so he would definitely be in consideration. Here is an idea of what they are like.

Ball- Great passing skills, court vision, potential to make other players better. He doesn't look to shoot a lot and needs to work on defense.

Jackson- athletic power dunker. Drives in the lane. Can give you some great defensive stops. I say he will need to work on his shot.

Fox- Can drive in the lane. Has a great shot. Is the best defender in the draft. He tends to look for his shot first than pass. He kind of has the same game as D'Angelo Russell.

If they draft Jackson, Ingram would probably play the 2 where he would handle the ball more often and we saw that the coaching staff wanted that.

Citydude: what are you watching about Fox that says great jump shot?

Fox - speed and defense. His shot will need work. There is a reason for John Wall comparisons and that's cause Wall's shot wasn't good out of college either. But he still has the speed to get to the basket. Playmaking wise, he is no Rondo. And that's the thing that scares me with Fox, he can be great for defense and attacking but when his jumper isn't working, his playmaking skills aren't good enough to save him. Tons of potential though.

Ball - playmaking and offense. I see him as an athletic Steve Nash. He can run an offense but do not think he will be drafted because of his defense. He's not a good defender but when you're 6'6 and the average NBA PG is 6'2 then you will have a lot of luck. Foot speed could be quicker but I think his ceiling is Steve Nash. Worse case scenario, he creates his own name. Not a MCW case, Ball has much more offensive potential.

I say draft Ball. I don't believe reports saying Lakers wouldn't pick him today. They haven't worked him out yet.

GM: He has a mid range shot which I say is great compared to the others but it could still be a good jump shot. Not 3 point shooting though. Which all players need to work on the 3 point game for the NBA level.

Im tripping on this post saying Fox needs foot speed. Obviously don't watch college because his speed was biggest attribute. Maybe you dint see fox light up Ball in regular season with 39pts then again in tournament with 33pts and Ball what 12pts. Yeah shot could be better but it improved over the season.
