Lakers are likely to strike out this year but they should definitely do this move if they do:
-fire Mitch, force Jim to step down
-hire Brian Paugas (works with Spurs under RC Buford for 9 years) for GM, bring in Magic for VP (you may not like it but Magic has the charisma and energy and he's 1000 times more like able than Jim Buss. He's respected by a wide spread of people and already owns the Dodgers. He's a hero in LA)

If we want to attract anyone in free agency 2017 we have to be better this season.

-trade D'Angelo Russell, Lou Williams, Larry Nance Jr., rights to the Lakers 2018 pick (lakers draft for Chicago in 2018) for Jimmy Butler

-sign Al Horford to a max contract, re-sign Jordan Clarkson, sign Brandon Jennings and Ryan Anderson with remainder of money
-claim Jarret Jack off waivers
-re-sign Tarik Black, Huertas

PG: Jordan Clarkson/ Jack/ Huertas
SG: Jimmy Butler/ Jennings
SF: Brandon Ingram/ Brown
PF: Julius Randle/ Anderson
C: Al Horford/ Zubac/ Black

Positions the Lakers for a run at Westbrook or Chris Paul in 2017: Westbrook - Butler - Ingram - Randle - Horford.

This is very bad for the Lakers if Hassan Whiteside is rejecting a meeting with the Lakers at a possible max contract offer. Firing Mitch is not the answer. The answer is to develop the young core and hope Ingram becomes a star. Once the salary cap increased and everybody has extra money all these A & B quality free agents just want to sign with playoff teams.

I agree with but you should trade JC , RANDLE , lou for jimmy bulter .
But I prefer PAUL GEORGE than J Bulter
