The Warriors are going to run the league for the next 4 years. We shouldn't trade away our young talent for a early playoff exit. It will help Laker Nation to remember that Anthony Davis will most likely opt out of the last year in his $27 million contract right when James Harden becomes a free agent after his newly renegotiated deal at the same time the Lakers free up $50 million from just Clarkson, Mozgov, and Deng's contracts ending.

By then the Lakers can go over the cap to resign restricted free agent Ingram (22), and Clarkson (28). Zubac will be 23, Russell will be 24, Randle will be 25, Nance Jr. and Anthony Brown will be 27. That's a lot of talent about to start their prime to pitch a 27 year old Anthony Davis and a 30 year old James Harden. Can you imagine a starting lineup of Russell, Harden, Ingram, Randle, Davis all either in their primes or about to be? Not to mention having Clarkson, Brown, Nance Jr, and Zubac on the bench. Could be the next Lakers dynasty!

Harden will never leave the rockets just signed an extension

Majority of NBA fans said Durant would never leave the Thunder and Wade would never leave the Heat under a week ago. The extension's end date is what part of my post is discussing. If Harden doesn't get past the 1st round of the playoffs until then, you can bet he'll be weighing his options. Especially with the chance to join Anthony Davis.

James Harden is not a team player. He has shot his team out of games. He can score and for a Rockets team that is perfect. He is a very bad defender. He missing spots and gives up on plays. Lakers don't need Harden.
