Lakers/ Magic in offseason

Lakers trade: Clarkson (Sign and trade), Nance, Brown
Magic trade: Mario Herzonja

Why for lakers?
Clarkson is good and is playing better than Herzonja right now but I don't think him and Russell can play together and Herzonja gives us a true SG who has the potential to be elite.

Why for Magic?
The magic already have a SG (Victor Oladipo) and a SF (Tobias Harris) so Herzonja will just be coming off the bench which can hurt his growth and overall potential. So clarkson, Nance, and even brown can all be quality players to come off the bench for them

seems like the lakers are giving up too much for an unproven talent. good points tho. I think d-lo and clarkson will be a capable tandem though as both can score in bunches. I say keep clarkson and let his or d-lo stock rise before trading
